lately

How we survived the winter months of a new baby.
Faces on boiled eggs.
Sock Puppets.
Shoveling snow x 1,000,000 (yes, those are totally socks on his hands. He couldn't find gloves. He made do)
And egg carton owls.
love.

2 months

This sweet baby girls is a privilege to spend my days with.
She smiles and laughs already and has SO MUCH light in her eyes.
We adore he.
She can't figure out how to eat. She can lift one eyebrow. And has blessed me more that I thought possible already.
She calms me and is patient with me and fills my soul with joy.

the best messes

I feel like when I'm old I'm going to miss the house oozing little play from top to bottom.
 Jack's Bunny Ears.

When grandma comes to town

 We were in heaven.
Spent the day NOT doing dishes.
NOT doing laundry.
NOT worrying about anything,
other than snuggling with E, reading books with J, playing animals, admiring Grandma's zebra slippers, trying to keep up with my llama slippers and Jack's fox slippers, and getting some much overdo mom time.

First Day of Primary

This little stud  has started primary.
I can't believe it. My heart aches for the time to go by slower.
Somehow it just keeps on getting faster.
He has one other little boy in primary with him and he loves his teachers.

Fox Slippers

I made these slippers for my little man. I made up the pattern and was a little nervous that they wouldn't turn out. He can't stop telling me how much he loves them so...
take that spiderman slippers that he really wanted and we couldn't afford!

She has a big brother. Don't worry, it's fake. He just left it behind after giving her kisses.

Can't pick up E because of the drugs I'm on with my kidney infection so we are snuggled in bed with our slippers on.
